Faith & Policy

Did you know that Mothers' Union has special consultative status at the United Nations? Representatives from Mothers' Union attend the meetings of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. During February our representatives have been to New York for a meeting discussing gender issues. The opinions of Mothers' Union are greatly appreciated and used to help the United Nations as they seek to improve the status of women throughout the world.

Quiet Days
Our next Quiet Day on Monday 15th March, which will be held at Shallowford House, will focus on 'The Father Heart of God'. See the events page for details of how to apply for a place.

Resources
Don't forget that the Faith and Policy Unit has a good supply of resources for church use. Baptism, Marriage and Premature Baby prayer cards and also services for Lady Day (25th March) and Mothering Sunday (14th March).
