In September 2002 twelve local members visited Mothers' Union groups and projects in the towns of Arusha and Moshi and the surrounding regions.

We visited several nursery school projects which, thanks to the generosity of Mothers' Union groups, churches and individuals in Leicestershire, were able to be completed.

As we travelled around we found that we shared much more in common with Tanzanian members than we ever imagined and experienced Mothers' Union uniting Christian women worldwide.
